Album: It Felt Like the End of the World

Track: Il Canto Della Polena

Composer & Arranger: Louise Woodward

Ringmaster review:

From start to finish It Felt Like The End of the World is rich captivation and completed by maybe its most compelling moment in the shape of Il Canto Della Polena. Electronically orchestral, the instrumental is pure cinematic and emotional drama with every movement of notes and touch of instrumentation an eyeglass into darkness and all that lurks within. Even so, there is an inspiriting essence to the piece that light and pleasure just fed off.

With numerous other musicians adding to its impressiveness, including Tom Petersson (Cheap Trick) and Louise Woodward as composer / arranger on that final track, there will be few albums like It Felt Like The End of the World this year and we suspect a fair few as adventurously absorbing and captivating as this striking moment with PETE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
